The Business Alliance Purpose:

Business Alliance recruits local businesses to form relationships with a middle or high school. Between six and twelve businesses, along with the school administration, make up a Business Alliance. A Business Alliance provides resources (ideas and expertise - not cash) to their schools through work-based, connecting, and school-based activities. These activities are channeled through the school principal to ensure that they support the school's instructional program. Businesses become involved in the life of a school, not just on a project-by-project basis, but through a continued, supporting relationship with the school's faculty and administration.

Membership is voluntary and renewable annually.

The Business Alliance Mission Statement

Business alliances combine the efforts of the school and area business partners to benefit individual students and the community through collaborative activities that underscore the value of education and the relationship between education and career opportunities.
