Fantasy Book Club
Club Description: The Fantasy Book club is for those who love to read
fantasy & science fiction books. We will discuss what we're reading,
create book displays in the Media Center, and write
book reviews for our online blog.

MathCounts
Club Description: Mathcounts is designed to inspire excellence,
confidence and curiosity in middle school students.
We solve challenging and fun math problems to prepare for competitions
and improve math skills for everyday computation.

Scrabble Club
Club Description: In Scrabble Club, we learn the rules of and play Scrabble;
have fun with friends; learn new words and even practice math and spelling.
Meeting Info: Every other Tuesday in room 264 (alternating with Writer's Guild)

Student Council
Club Description: DDMS Student Council is made up of two representatives from each team.
We participate in several activities throughout the year to benefit our school, as well as the community.
The Student Council puts on all three school dances, with the help of the PTA.
The annual food drive and spririt week are just a few of the programs that Student Council sponsors.

Club Description: The YB photography staff is an application only organization
that will assist the 8th grade YB Editors Class in the creation of the school YB.
