Welcome to our Guidance Counselor's corner of the website. My name is Phillip Echols and I am one of three Guidance Counselors here at Davis Drive Middle School. I am a native of Martinsville, VA, home of the Martinsville NASCAR Speedway (for all you race fans). I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Hampton University, which is located in Hampton, VA. I taught for two years and then furthered my education to receive my Masters in Counselor Education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), located in Blacksburg, VA. As always, I am looking forward to a great school year.
